Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells was first announced back in May, and fans should have a pretty good idea of what to expect from it. Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells is quite literally like Candy Crush Saga or Bejeweled, but with a Harry Potter aesthetic. The game is developed by Zynga, and so it is quite clearly aiming for the more casual crowd. However, it should be a good time-waster for any Harry Potter fans that need something new to play on their phones.

While Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells is aimed at casual games, Portkey Games has something coming up for hardcore gamers as well. As revealed at the most recent PS5 Showcase event, Hogwarts Legacy is set to launch in 2021 for home gaming consoles, and is set to be a full-blown, big budget Harry Potter RPG. It will be quite the departure from what Portkey has put out so far, and it will be interesting to see if it lives up to the hype.
While Harry Potter fans wait for more information on Hogwarts Legacy, they can try Puzzles & Spells, as well as Hogwarts Mystery and Wizards Unite, to help pass the time.
Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells is out now for iOS and Android mobile devices.
